The location of the international business conference is a purpose-built marquee town with 4000 m² of space. As of 2016, the exquisitely furnished marquees will be located on the former Berhard-Hülsmann army barracks. The special atmosphere will however be retained and we are again looking forward to “camping out” with the speakers, supporters, helping hands and guests.

New location

Due to a fortunate coincidence, the area on the grounds of the former Bernhard-Hülsmann military barracks has turned out to be a real stroke of luck. Just two minutes by car from the ‘Iserlohn Zentrum’ highway exit, from the end of August on the tips of the marquees will be visible to all drivers traveling towards Iserlohn. Although the terrain is still known to many people from Iserlohn as an army barracks site, there is hardly anything left of the military buildings nowadays.

A brief historical review: In 1969, Iserlohn became a garrison town and British soldiers were mainly stationed at three locations – Winkelmann Barracks, Bernhard-Hülsmann Barracks and Corunna Barracks. At the time, the Bernhard-Hülsmann Barracks, this year’s venue for the Campus Symposium, accommodated the “Truppendienstliche Fachschule der Luftwaffe”, the Air Force Training College. After the troops had been reduced and all the barracks in Iserlohn closed in the 1990s, the sites were utilized for different purposes. Besides the meadow where our marquees will be erected, the facilities there include the Gerontological Technology Center.

Your route

As in previous years, attendees at the business conference will be chauffeured to the event location with a shuttle service provided by our volunteers.

Our parking facilities can be reached via the A46 (exit at Iserlohn-Seilersee, direction Arnsberg, IS-Seilersee, Unna and turn onto Seilerseestrasse (B233)). At the first junction, turn right onto Hembergstrasse. After crossing the bridge over the motorway, our parking lot is on the left-hand side of the road (Parkplatz P+R Hemberg).
