This year, the category “Regional Project” again has a special standing and we want to single out exceptional commitment to society on a regional level. In our opinion it is not only celebrities who perform services for others, but especially people from our immediate surroundings. Reason enough for our jury, together with the students from this area and beyond, to search for initiative groups from the region of South Westphalia who likewise deserve to stand in the limelight. Because they campaign for those who are weaker. Because they have an idea that helps others. Simply because they do good. We want to bring people from the region onto the stage and focus the attention of those attending on their dedicated work.
